Job Title: Junior Project Contract Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Project Contract Manager to join our team at Alstom. As a key member of the project team, you will work closely with the Project Manager and core project team to develop, implement, and drive contract/claim management and risk mitigation strategies in accordance with Alstom's business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the application of Contract, Claims and Insurance Management Manual (CCIM) and Alstom governance.
  • Prepare and communicate Contract Summaries to the project team and stakeholders.
  • Analyze contracts to build and drive implementation of Contract/Claim Management Strategy Plans.
  • Ensure the elaboration of Contract Data Requirement Lists (CDRLs) by the project team members is launched in time and accurately communicated.
  • Monitor project schedules to achieve contractual milestones.
  • Issue timely contractual notices to customers and partners.
  • Establish and implement project-specific commercial procedures.
  • Ensure reliable filing and easy access of correspondence from and to customers and partners.
  • Monitor and manage correspondence with customers and partners.
  • Develop and produce project-specific processes and ways of working for contract/claim management.
  • Develop a pragmatic commercial approach based on contractual analysis of the project to protect Alstom's interests.
  • Monitor and record claims/counterclaims and prepare supporting documentation for negotiations.
  • Provide creative advice on specific issues, risks, and contractual/claims activities.
  • Report on contract management and claims activities to the project, Legal, and Contract Management teams.
  • Provide training on contract/claim management to key stakeholders.
  • Anticipate events and risks associated with contract management activities and propose counter-strategies.
