About the Role

Cytiva is a leading provider of innovative solutions for the life sciences industry, and we are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team in Italy.

As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, qualifying, and maintaining our equipment at customer sites, as well as providing technical support and troubleshooting services. You will also be involved in promoting service contracts and identifying opportunities to improve our customers' operations.

This is a remote-based position, and you will be working independently to manage your workload and prioritize your tasks. You will be part of our Biotechnology Integrated Solutions - Equipment Services team, and you will be working closely with our customers to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and qualify equipment at customer sites
  • Perform preventative maintenance and calibration
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting services
  • Promote service contracts and identify opportunities to improve customer operations
  • Manage own stock and work orders
  • Participate in sales opportunities and assist with promoting and implementing revenue programs
Requirements
  • Education: Majored in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer, Electronic or Automation or equivalent field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position
  • Technical skills: Very good mechanical and electrical skills, experience troubleshooting
  • English is required
  • Ability to travel: 70% travel and overnight stay within territory
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in the biopharma or biotechnologies industry
  • Computers (Windows OS, PC, server), networks and database
