About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Field Service Engineer to join our team at Sysmex Europe GmbH. As a key member of our regional technical service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the uptime of our instruments installed base in the assigned geographic area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Instrument Uptime: Ensure the optimal performance and reliability of our instruments in the field, performing troubleshooting and maintenance activities as needed.
  • Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with end-users and laboratory stakeholders, providing expert technical support and guidance.
  • Service Delivery: Execute reactive and proactive service activities at customer sites and remotely, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.
  • Technical Expertise: Act as an expert and second-level support in the field for our assigned business line, providing technical guidance and training to colleagues.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with commercial functions to design tailored solutions to specific customer needs, and work closely with the EMEA support team to ensure seamless support.
Requirements
  • Education: University degree or equivalent in engineering, with advanced certificate in electronics and/or equivalent industry experience.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong technical knowledge of electronic equipment, preferably in the IVD industry.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English and Italian, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience: More than 10 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer in the medical device industry, with leadership experience and self-motivation.
