Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Project Engineer to join our Engineering Centre in Fano, Italy. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the civil discipline activity during project execution or bid phase, ensuring that corporate and project procedures are correctly applied and that project deliverables are issued according to the schedule and within approved man-hours budget.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain a comprehensive list of discipline project deliverables, including verification of requirements from other disciplines;
  2. Act as checker and/or approver for all discipline deliverables, including specifications, datasheets, drawings, and reports;
  3. Verify engineering documents from subcontractors and vendors;
  4. Establish and maintain effective interfaces with other project disciplines, project management, and client representatives;
  5. Review and comment on contract contents and related technical discipline annexes, identifying discrepancies, mistakes, or deficiencies and developing a list of clarifications/comments for submission to the discipline lead engineer and project engineer;
  6. Prepare technical specifications, including applicable standards, if not included in contract technical documentation;
  7. Provide progress reporting and forecasting input to the project controls department;
  8. Ensure deliverables meet quality standards in terms of technical content, compliance with design criteria, international standards, and contractual requirements;
  9. Monitor design discrepancies between detail phase and bidding phase, including quantities and equipment dimensions;
  10. Develop and maintain the 3D model specific area and support the 3D model coordinator (Smart Plant Specialist) according to the 3D model procedure.
Requirements

Candidates should have a minimum of 3-4 years of experience in a civil engineering role, with the ability to lead the full life cycle of an EPC project. A strong understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of civil engineering, as well as accurate competences in techniques and tools, is essential. Fluency in English and good knowledge of French are also required.

Additional Information

The successful candidate will be based in Fano, Italy, with the possibility of travel within Italy and Europe.
