As an Operational Project Officer, you will be part of our team that delivers operational advantage at every decisive moment throughout the mission.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to perform sales and order administration tasks, including quotations, pricing, order management, draft invoicing, materialization, and loading specifications into ERP. Your primary responsibility will be to understand and qualify internal and external customer requests, dispatching them within Thales to appropriate teams as necessary.

The role also involves managing purchase/contract requests, ensuring key milestones are met on time. You will support our NAS Transformation Plan, focusing on PM and BID initiatives, mainly scheduling and workload. Additionally, you will book and verify customer orders against ERP data and Thales quotes/contracts, updating the sales plan with FIN and PM teams to ensure alignment with sales & operations plan (S&OP) expectations in ERP.

An ideal candidate should have junior to mid-level experience with up to 4 years of experience maximum, proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, and knowledge of ERP systems like OCM, SAP, etc. A high school certificate or equivalent is required, while a Bachelor's degree in Economics or equivalent is a plus. Proficiency in English and Italian is mandatory, with a third language being a plus.

Key responsibilities include:
• Book and verify customer orders against ERP data and Thales quotes/contracts
• Update the sales plan with FIN and PM teams, ensuring alignment with S&OP expectations in ERP
• Manage purchase/contract requests, ensuring key milestones are met on time
• Support NAS Transformation Plan, focusing on PM and BID initiatives, mainly scheduling and workload
• Maintain accurate customer database, registries, and sales contract archives
