Position Overview:

We are seeking a Reception Manager for the upcoming season to enhance our Front Office team. The ideal candidate possesses a genuine passion for hospitality and is adept at navigating challenges. They should be committed to delivering authentic luxury experiences, showcasing qualities such as care, confidence, curiosity, and a sense of community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome guests, ensuring a seamless and warm check-in and check-out process.
  • Assign rooms to guests based on their preferences and requirements.
  • Address inquiries and provide detailed information regarding the hotel and surrounding area.
  • Coordinate special requests and liaise with all hotel departments to uphold the highest service standards.
  • Implement Leading Quality Assurance Standards effectively.
  • Guide, train, and oversee front office personnel.
  • Manage workload distribution during shifts.
  • Maintain effective communication and relationships with all departments.
  • Ensure accurate room status information is consistently updated and communicated.
  • Resolve guest issues promptly and courteously.
  • Conduct regular meetings with the front office team to foster collaboration.
  • Optimize room revenue and occupancy through daily status reviews.
  • Ensure adherence to all hotel policies and house rules.
  • Operate Front Office computer systems proficiently.
  • Respond to all messages and emails in a timely and professional manner.
  • Monitor V.I.P. guests and their specific requests.
  • Review daily front office activity reports generated by Night Audit.
  • Examine the front office log book and guest feedback daily.
  • Maintain an organized filing system for all documentation.
  • Perform Duty Manager responsibilities and other tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience, preferably at an international level in a similar role.
  • Fluency in English and Italian; proficiency in a third language is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Hotel Management software.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher).
