About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Office Manager to join our team at Belmond. As a key member of our Front Office team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring the smooth operation of our Front Office Department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greeting Guests and Ensuring a Smooth Check-In and Check-Out Process
  • Rooming Guests and Providing Accurate Information
  • Answering Enquiries and Providing Information about the Hotel and Local Area
  • Organising Special Requests and Communicating with All Departments
  • Implementing Leading Quality Assurance Standards
  • Supporting, Training, and Supervising Front Office Staff
  • Supervising Workload During Shifts and Maintaining Working Relationships
  • Allocating Guest Rooms and Verifying Room Status Information
  • Resolving Guest Problems Quickly and Efficiently
  • Conducting Regular Meetings with the Front Office Team
  • Maximising Room Revenue and Occupancy
  • Ensuring Implementation of All Hotel Policies and House Rules
  • Operating All Aspects of Front Office Computer Systems
  • Ensuring Timely and Professional Response to Messages and Emails
  • Monitoring VIP Guests and Special Requests
  • Reviewing Daily Front Office Work and Activity Reports
  • Reviewing Front Office Log Book and Guest Feedback
  • Maintaining an Organised and Comprehensive Filing System
  • Performing Duty Manager Duties and Other Tasks as Requested
Requirements
  • At Least 5 Years of Previous Professional Experience in a Similar Role
  • Fluent in English and Italian, with a Third Language Required
  • Knowledge of Hotel Management Software and Microsoft Office Package
