Role Overview
As a Resident Manager, you will gain invaluable experience in hotel management, with opportunities to transition between various properties.
Reporting directly to the General Manager of Meliá Milano and other assigned hotels, your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing hotel operations: planning, coordinating, managing, supervising, and analyzing results across all hotel departments.
- Leading and motivating high-performing teams while continuously assessing and maintaining exceptional service quality and operational efficiency.
- Ensuring the effective implementation of Meliá Hotels International's policies and procedures in alignment with strategic objectives.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a Resident Manager role or similar positions.
- Experience in the luxury segment is preferred.
- Strong operational and guest service focus.
- Knowledge of hotel operations.
- University degree, preferably in Tourism or related fields.
- International experience is an advantage.
- Comprehensive understanding of all departmental operations.
- Background in Rooms Division is preferred.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
- A warm and dynamic personality.
- Proven skills in Human Resources Management and Talent Development.
- Familiarity with IT tools used in hotel management.
- High geographical flexibility is preferred.
- Proficiency in English is mandatory; knowledge of Italian is a plus.
- Willingness to relocate between different hotels both within Italy and internationally.
