Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Manager to join our team in Milan. As a key member of our Inspection, Maintenance and Repair (IMR) team, you will be responsible for leading the development of technical solutions and supporting the commercial organization in strategic value creation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technical interaction with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions
  • Develop and coordinate engineering departments, business units, and affiliates to prepare and deliver technical packages
  • Assess projects and tenders to identify main risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Manage IMR sales and technical concepts, models, and databases to ensure consistency and accuracy
  • Visit customers to understand their challenges and needs, and develop solutions to meet those needs
  • Act as Project Manager for short-term activities, such as inspections, and manage handovers to execution teams
  • Define and implement improvement actions based on lessons learned outputs

Requirements

  • Proven experience in technical sales and business development, with a strong understanding of the energy and telecommunications industries
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage complex projects and teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly connect, analyze, and cluster data
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluency in English, with additional languages a plus
