In this role, you will take on the position of Sales Account for the Medical Sector within our Electrical Business Line.

The ELECTRICAL division operates through a worldwide network of laboratories, providing comprehensive testing, inspection, and certification services to clients across the globe.

Our ELECTRICAL Business Line is dedicated to delivering prompt and proficient solutions for product testing, inspection, and certification through our accredited laboratories, catering to clients around the world.

We support manufacturers in a variety of sectors, including but not limited to Lighting, Medical, Renewable Energy, Home Appliances, Industrial, Life Safety/Security, IT, and Telecommunications.

Position Overview

Key Responsibilities:

You will be accountable for achieving sales profit and revenue targets within the Electromedical sector in Italy.

This role entails the development and execution of business strategies aimed at attracting new clients while nurturing existing relationships. Collaboration with the Operations Department is essential to ensure effective service delivery, promote strategic business areas, and identify new market opportunities.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing the sales strategy in alignment with the company's objectives and policies.
  • Crafting a business development strategy in collaboration with Group Management.
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities (hunting) while maintaining relationships with current clients (farming) through thorough client research, prospecting, and networking.
  • Continuously enhancing personal knowledge of priority sectors, market trends, and routes to market to improve effectiveness in a sales support role. Monitoring market potential, tracking sales, and preparing status reports. Staying informed about best practices and promotional trends.
  • Guiding deals from technical specifications through budgeting and proposal stages to final order.
  • Engaging customers with a cross-selling approach, promoting synergies with other business lines.
  • Serving as a liaison between clients and operations (both local and international laboratory networks).
  • Compiling sales reports and documenting customer interactions and opportunities in the CRM system.

Candidate Profile

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Biomedical or Electrical preferred).
  • At least 5 years of sales experience within the electro-medical sector.
  • A B2B sales consultant approach.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Willingness to travel across Italy.
  • Previous experience in the Testing, Inspection, and Certification sector is advantageous.
