About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our Services Signalling Business Unit at Alstom Gruppe. As a key member of our Maintenance and Technical Assistance team, you will be responsible for providing technical support to maintenance activities on Railway Signalling Systems operated by our domestic and international customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • System performance monitoring and execution of HW and SW system upgrades
  • Technical expertise with product engineering in case of unknown bugs or behaviors
  • Providing customer feedback to improve products and meet customer needs
  • Providing training to customer maintenance staff
  • Definition and implementation of maintenance and technical assistance plans
  • Coordination and support to maintenance technicians on field
  • Providing support to Service organization in the definition of maintenance strategy in tenders and offers
Requirements
  • Degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent
  • Basic knowledge of electronic design principles and methodology
  • Knowledge of railways signalling systems and principles
  • Capability to interpret electric drawings and schemes
  • Capability to use test tools (oscilloscope, wave generator, multimeter, etc.)
  • Excellent written and spoken Italian and good written and spoken English
