We are currently seeking a proactive and dedicated Quality Assurance Technician to join our Industrial Quality team. This role will report directly to the Project Industrial Quality Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments on car bodyshell components (aluminum alloy) and bogies, primarily utilizing UT Phased Array TFM techniques, as well as MT, VT, and PT methods.
  • Mentor and guide non-destructive (ND) technicians in executing ND inspections during production to enhance their capabilities.
  • Collaborate with experts from the special process and industrialization departments (EWE and IWE) to establish appropriate methodology checks in relation to technical applications.
  • Work alongside L3 experts to optimize inspection techniques and formalize ND testing procedures.
  • Analyze statistical data related to processes to support Industrial Quality control and problem-solving methodologies.
  • Implement the ZERO DEFECT PROGRAM, focusing on root cause analysis of welding defects.
  • Oversee the management of NDT certification expiration for the entire ND technician team in relation to third-party assessors.
  • Plan and execute workstation audits, ensuring follow-up and management of relevant action plans.

Performance Metrics:

  • Serial quality control and spot checks conducted in accordance with the scheduled plan.
  • Reduction in welding defects trending positively within quarterly assessments, aligned with targets.
  • Maintenance of 100% qualification for the ND technician population.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Extension of qualifications in railway maintenance (following ANSFISA guidelines) across all ND methodologies.
  • Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
  • Experience with Excel VBA and Macros.
