About the role

This position is for a seasoned professional in New Equipment Modernization. This role understands and communicates job schedules and all on-site construction activities to all project team members and is responsible for the coordination of project activities. Resolves complex customer issues for key customers and escalates the most complex issues to management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviews and approves all expenditures for small to complex projects on a monthly basis and ensures the accuracy of all invoices/applications for payment in accordance with purchase order and subcontract terms and conditions. Also ensures that they are processed (approved/authorized) in a timely manner.
  • Updates project schedules independently and prepares project management correspondences and documents effectively on all aspects of the implementation phases, including customer meeting minutes, team assignments/action item tracking, letters, memorandums, transmittals, and RFIs.
  • Acts as the primary contact with complex customers, develops a professional relationship, and understands the customer needs to meet those within the bounds of contracted scope.
  • Assists managers in managing the ordering of materials and logistics according to the project plan and progress to ensure all materials delivered can be billed timely.
  • Responsible for organizing all on-site construction activities for complex projects.

Requirements

We are looking for people who, as a minimum, must have:

  • Advanced knowledge obtained through a University degree, combined with experience.
  • Practical to substantial knowledge of Carrier organization, programs, or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.
  • University Degree or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience OR an advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years experience.
