Job Summary
As a Service Sales Area Leader at Carrier Corp, you will be responsible for pursuing large opportunities to modernize HVAC solutions for our customers. This is a technical and consultative sales role where you will seek to understand customer needs and design the best solutions to meet them.

About the Role
As an experienced professional in outside sales, you will participate in various outside sales activities and customer relationship management. You will be responsible for representing the company's interests and building business relationships to enhance outside sales performance.

Key Responsibilities
• Proactively identify and prospect for modernization projects, including identifying bid opportunities, preparing bid responses, creating presentations, and negotiating contracts with potential customers.
• Manage a pipeline of sales opportunities through qualification, proposal, quote management, and booking of the work to achieve orders and gross margin targets.
• Provide accurate forecasting of orders on a monthly and quarterly basis.
• Grow an assigned territory or group of accounts with the sale of Carrier's modernization offerings, and team with other salespeople responsible for Service Agreements, Repair, and Controls to deliver top-tier value for our customers.

Requirements
We are looking for people who have a minimum of 5 years of mechanical sales experience and a Bachelor's degree in a related field. You must be able to work in a highly collaborative and dynamic environment and demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively develop expectations and relationships with internal and external customers.
