Service Sales Area Director

As a Service Sales Area Leader at Carrier Corp, you will play a crucial part in driving business growth through the sale of modernization solutions to our customers.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and pursuing large opportunities, working closely with our customers to understand their needs and design solutions that meet their requirements.
This is a technical and consultative sales role that requires strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities- Proactively identify and pursue modernization projects, including identifying bid opportunities, preparing bid responses, and negotiating contracts with potential customers.
- Manage a pipeline of sales opportunities through qualification, proposal, quote management, and booking of work to achieve orders and gross margin targets.
- Provide accurate forecasting of orders on a monthly and quarterly basis.
- Grow an assigned territory or group of accounts with the sale of Carrier's modernization offerings, working closely with other sales teams to deliver top-tier value to our customers.
- Develop long-term relationships and partnerships with customers through consultative sales methods.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred, High School Diploma / GED required.
- 5 years of mechanical sales experience required.
- Ability to work in a highly collaborative and dynamic environment.
