Sales Development Representative – Italy (f/m/d)

As part of our small Sales Development team in Milan, you act as Forto’s business card. In this role you will identify and qualify new customers for the Sales team while also closing and building out your own account within the lower segments.
For this, you easily build relationships with your prospects and work out the added value of our products and services which will help them solve their issues.

You will
  • Develop our Go-To-Market strategy and find new ways to grow our influence in the Italian market and have a direct impact on Forto's business growth
  • Expand our client portfolio by identifying potential customer contacts via phone, mailing and on-site at trade fairs and build your own network with key business decision makers
  • Drive forward our platform solutions to create value for our customer’s supply chain needs by onboarding low-segment customers yourself
  • Support our Field Sales Managers in maturing leads and the overall customer pipeline
  • Investigate the issues of your potential customers and consult them about possible solutions to add real value to through our products and services
  • Be involved in different cross-functional projects to evolve our business and take responsibility for your personal development.
What you bring
  • Fluent language proficiency in Italian (min. C1 level) and English (min. B2 level)
  • First experience in sales, customer facing or freight forwarding role
  • You are highly motivated, curious with a can-do attitude and willing to work in a fast-paced environment
  • You know how to deal with rejection and don't let it get in the way of your goals
  • You are enthusiastic about new challenges and have a growth mindset to continuously develop yourself further
  • You are able to captivate people through outstanding communication skills, showing empathy and understanding the needs of your counterpart
