Job Title: Associate Team Leader

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Associate Team Leader to support our retail office during tax season. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional client experiences and providing daily operations direction for the tax office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Multi-Unit Team Leader: Serve as the onsite point of contact for tax office associates and clients, ensuring quality and consistent execution that promotes the value of H&R Block.
  • Execute and Hold Associates Accountable: Execute and hold all tax office associates accountable to Service Standards execution and client service experience.
  • Serve as Point of Contact: Serve as the point of contact for onsite escalated client service concerns.
  • Ensure Client Scheduling: Ensure clients are scheduled properly and conflicts are resolved.
  • Lead Daily Activities: Lead the office from the front desk, providing phone coverage and engaging with clients. Lead daily activities to ensure that all tax office associates are scheduled, and work is completed according to deadlines.
  • Communicate Essential Information: Lead daily huddles and communicate essential information to office associates.

Requirements:

  • Prior Experience: Prior experience working in customer service or a similar role.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and ability to plan and manage day-to-day office operations.
  • Customer-Centric Mindset: Customer-centric mindset and strong communication skills.
  • Computer Proficiency: Computer proficient with the ability to use MS Office.
  • Independence: Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Flexibility: Able to work a flexible work schedule of 40 hours per week and flexibility based on business needs.
  • Education: High school diploma / equivalent or higher.

Pay Range: $11 - $29 per hour
