Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve challenges related to sales growth, resource allocation, and market strategy.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing sales team by hiring, training, and providing continuous coaching and feedback to ensure excellence in sales performance.
  • Manage relationships with key accounts, decision-makers, and opinion leaders, ensuring strong partnerships that drive business results.
  • Oversee the execution of strategic and tactical business plans, optimizing resources, and managing sales and expense budgets.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies to keep the team informed and competitive.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in the surgical sales business, with prior experience leading a sales force or comparable department.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of ophthalmic vocabulary and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Behaviors: Excellent leadership and supervisory abilities, strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, and a customer-oriented approach.
