Job Description

NielsenIQ is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Account Development professional to join our team in Italy. As a key member of our Commercial and Customer Success team, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth and developing strong relationships with our retailer partners.

Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key retailers, identifying business opportunities and negotiating deals to drive sales growth.
  • Maintain extensive knowledge of NielsenIQ solutions and current market conditions to effectively promote our services to retailers.
  • Support and directly service client requests, ensuring timely and effective resolution of issues.
  • Execute daily sales targets in line with company strategy, leveraging business intelligence tools to inform decision-making.
  • Prepare client proposals, contracts, and orders to invoice, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Support the maintenance of revenue-related documents, materials, and tracking files.
  • Collaborate with Delivery teams to drive and execute sales campaigns, leveraging data and insights to inform sales strategies.
Requirements:
  • Higher education in Economics, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in sales, preferably in FMCG, distributor, retailer, or marketing and/or research agency, consultancy, and/or technology.
  • Previous experience with NielsenIQ data and reports is a plus.
  • Easily adaptable to new business intelligence tools, such as Microsoft Dynamics, Salesloft, and other online tools and platforms.
  • Good track record in previous analytical and/or sales roles.
  • Fluent in Italian and English.
