Retail Account Development Specialist

NielsenIQ is seeking a skilled Retail Account Development professional to join our team. As a key member of our Commercial and Customer Success team, you will play a vital role in connecting with our retailer partners, driving continuous sales and new business development.
This exciting opportunity will challenge you to build strong relationships with our clients, identify business opportunities, and negotiate and close deals. You will also be responsible for maintaining relationships with current clients, supporting and directly servicing client requests, and executing sales campaigns in close collaboration with our Delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Build and maintain strong relationships with retailer partners
- Identify and pursue business opportunities to drive sales and revenue growth
- Negotiate and close deals with clients
- Maintain relationships with current clients and support their requests
- Execute sales campaigns and collaborate with Delivery teams
- Higher education in Economics, Marketing, Business, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in sales, preferably in FMCG, distributor, retailer, or marketing and/or research agency, consultancy, and/or technology
- Previous experience with NielsenIQ data and reports is a plus
- Easily adaptable to new business intelligence tools
- Good track record in analytical and/or sales roles
- Fluent in Italian and English
