About the location:

A serene urban oasis steeped in historical charm. Wander through the city's largest private garden – a peaceful sanctuary adorned with statues, fountains, and ancient trees – or retreat to your suite where exquisite frescoes adorn the walls amidst original architectural features. Our historic establishment, featuring a Michelin-starred Italian restaurant and a locally inspired spa, is conveniently located near the cultural epicenter of Florence.

About the role:

The Front Desk Receptionist is responsible for welcoming guests to the establishment, ensuring an outstanding guest experience during check-in, throughout their stay, and at departure. This position aims to achieve the highest level of guest satisfaction during arrivals and departures, while also addressing a variety of guest requests, assessing their needs, providing personalized recommendations, and adhering to Four Seasons service standards.

Responsibilities:

Manage all guest interactions with the utmost hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever feasible. Assist guests with inquiries related to hotel services, operational hours, key personnel, in-house events, directions, and more. Respond to all guest requests promptly and accurately, with interactions occurring both in person and via phone. Address guest complaints and identify opportunities to enhance and personalize the service experience for all guests.

Qualifications:

A minimum of one year of experience in a luxury hotel or similar environment is preferred. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Cultural sensitivity and a strong customer service orientation. A focus on guest preferences and the importance of personalized service. Proficiency in English and Italian. Familiarity with Opera PMS is advantageous.

Schedule & Hours:

This position is based at the Four Seasons Hotel Florence and is seasonal in nature. Candidates must possess the legal right to work in Italy at the time of application.
