About the Position


The DACH Sales Team is seeking an experienced Strategic Account Manager to join our team in the DACH region. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing a group of major strategic accounts tied to specific Product Groups, including Handheld Scanners and Fixed Retail Scanners.


Key Responsibilities



  • Manage customer relationships, including the identification of customer needs and the positioning of Datalogic's offerings.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Build long-term relationships with customers and partners, including System Integrators.
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide high-level inputs to Industry and Product Marketing Managers.
  • Identify, classify, and manage leads/opportunities/alliances, assigning the right priority to sales activities.
  • Contribute to Product Launches and Field Marketing activities.
  • Fulfill sales assigned quota.

Requirements



  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or business administration.
  • Native German and fluent English language skills.
  • 5-10 years of experience in a similar role, including familiarity with CRM systems and excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong drive to success, team player, and problem solver attitude.
  • Interpersonal abilities, including building relationships with long-lasting customers and developing new accounts.
  • Experience in POS/Retail ICT and proactivity, willingness to travel within DACH.
