Key Account Business Developer

About the Role:
The Key Account Manager will be responsible for developing the representation of BYD's total proposition within the Direct Customer market, including Key Accounts, Rental Companies, and National Leasing Companies.
This role will involve active collaboration with Partners in the distribution channel to ensure alignment and coordination on all aspects of the business.
The successful candidate will have a strong sales background and network, with a proven track record of new business growth and a sense of ownership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop the Direct Customer business area, creating the brand proposition and coordinating dynamic with Partners and commercial policies.
- Acquire new Direct Customers to realize solid car parks at fleet owners.
- Negotiate volumes and model-mix with Direct Customers, making quotation proposals and calculating margins.
- Develop sales activities and incentives towards Direct Customers, increasing sales in the fleet, leasing, and rental market.
- Collaborate with other departments to develop plans and strategies to meet customer needs and grow profitable sales.
Requirements:
A relevant education at Higher Vocational (Bachelor) level, such as commercial/business economics.
Extensive experience and proven results in a commercial role in the automotive sector, preferably at a leasing company or OEM.
Solid knowledge and experience with MS Office, good negotiation technique, and excellent English language skills.
