We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team in Italy. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expanding our market share within current accounts and finding new opportunities to extend our relationship with them.
This is a field role, with over 50% travel, and you can be based anywhere within Italy. You will have full ownership and autonomy over your territory and report directly to our Regional Sales Manager.
Responsibilities include:
- Pitching and driving business development
- Identifying and closing opportunities with new organizations
- Drive consistent momentum in sales cycles and maintain a healthy sales pipeline
- Advise the company and guide product management on market & product requirements
Requirements for this role include:
- 3-5 years of consultative sales experience
- Experience selling NGS or Genomics products into Hospital Systems and/or Lab Environments
- Understanding of the Italian Market and familiarity with our target customers
- A hunter mentality, driven by a desire to consistently generate new business
- You will need to be able to travel across your territory to a minimum of 50%
- You are fluent to a business level in both Italian and English
We offer a competitive salary of €60,000 - €80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits and a comprehensive relocation package.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about our mission to radically improve the outcomes for Cancer & Rare Disease patients globally and have a proven track record of success in similar roles.
