Regional Sales Manager

As a Regional Sales Manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will have the opportunity to drive sales growth and contribute to the success of our Chemical Analysis Division's Environmental & Process Monitoring business in South- and East Europe.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with customers to create and maintain a healthy pipeline of sales opportunities
- Develop and maintain Go-To-Market plans for the region in close collaboration with the local Channel Manager
- Understand competitors and develop sales strategies to respond effectively
- Close deals based on a 'must-win' mentality
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree, advanced degrees preferred
- 5+ years of sales experience with a documented track record of success
- 2+ years of experience as an indirect people and/or distribution manager
- Must have sold capital pieces of equipment
- Ability to travel 50%+ across the assigned territory
- Strong technical knowledge of the chemical and/or environmental industry and experience selling in those markets
- Self-starter and able to work on your own
- Ability to prospect new business and have that 'hunter' attitude
- Strong communication skills – orally and written in English
- Strong organizational and time management skills
