At Novonesis, we are seeking a seasoned sales professional to lead our dairy division in Italy. As Senior Sales Manager - Dairy Division Italy, you will be responsible for driving sales growth through effective distributor relationships and strategic business development.

About the Role

We offer an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced sales leader to join our team in Parma, Italy. Your primary focus will be on implementing and executing our sales strategy, developing sales through distributors, and building a strong sales pipeline.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and maintain excellent relationships with key distributors to drive business growth.
  • Analyze market share and potential for each distributor, identifying and prioritizing growth opportunities.
  • Design, implement, and follow up on business development plans for each key distributor.
  • Coordinate activities related to distributors within the dairy sales team, including inputs to resource prioritization.
  • Manage pricing to distributors to develop business, protect profitability, and maintain a competitive pricing structure.
  • Build a solid sales and project pipeline through frequent customer meetings and frontline activities.
  • Prepare business cases to optimize distribution setup.
  • C coordinate seminars and trainings of distributors and their customers as relevant to reach business goals.
  • Provide feedback on market trends and development of competitive products and applications.
Requirements
  • Recognized qualification in food technologies or similar.
  • Minimum 5 years of related sales experience in food ingredients, with a proven experience in managing distributors, preferably in the dairy industry.
  • Proactive and execution-oriented personality with leading, drive, and a can-do attitude & capabilities.
  • Ability to visualize, lead, and implement changes for continuous improvement, planning, and implementing short- and long-term goals.
  • Strong capabilities to engage people and keep them engaged, adapting approach and work & communication styles to different and changing personalities and contexts.
  • Ability to conduct successful complex negotiations.
  • Disciplined and strong will to learn and continuously improve commercial and technical skills.

The estimated salary for this role is €80,000 - €120,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
