MICHAEL PAGE ITALIA seeks a highly experienced Country Sales Director to lead our expansion and growth in the Italian market.
About the RoleWe are looking for a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record of success in developing new business opportunities, managing accounts, and executing strategic projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on results, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to negotiate and sell.
Key Responsibilities- Business Development:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business plan for Italy, targeting maximum profitability and sustainable growth.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, focusing on opening new customers and distribution channels.
- Promote and strengthen relationships with key partners and customers through strategic planning and alliance-building.
- Commercial and Contractual Management:
- Manage and coordinate commercial activities in the territory, collaborating with internal teams and agents to achieve sales objectives.
- Design and implement innovative strategies to improve retail performance, including incentive programs and training initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, using data analytics tools to optimize profitability and efficiency.
- Market and Brand Management:
- Analyze market trends and competition, providing insights to inform company strategies and adapt to the Italian market.
- Interdepartmental Leadership and Collaboration:
- Lead and manage local and agent teams, setting goals, providing feedback, and ensuring alignment with global objectives.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A university degree and at least 5 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably as a Country Manager in related sectors.
- Demonstrable knowledge of business project management in the contract and interior design sector, particularly in residential and hospitality areas.
- Advanced computer skills, including Excel Advanced and familiarity with data analysis tools like Power BI.
- An advanced level of English language proficiency.
MICHAEL PAGE ITALIA offers a competitive salary and benefits package, commensurate with experience. The estimated annual salary for this position is €70,000 - €90,000, depending on qualifications and performance. This figure includes a basic salary and an estimate of additional compensation based on industry standards for similar roles in northern Italy.
