We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Account Director, Business Development to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a key member of our business development team, you will play a critical role in securing and retaining business for our clinical research services.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute sales strategies to secure new business and retain existing clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the clinical research industry
- Position Thermo Fisher Scientific as a primary or preferred provider for clinical development work
- Develop and deliver high-quality proposals and presentations to clients
- Manage sales databases and maintain accurate records of sales activity
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience and skills
- Extensive senior-level sales experience in the Clinical/CRO/Laboratory Services markets
- Proven track record of developing mid- and high-level business contacts
- Excellent social skills and ability to integrate with Operations, Finance, and Marketing teams
- Advanced level of business English; additional European languages an advantage
