About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analytics Senior Audit Manager to join our team at Prysmian Group. As a key member of our Internal Audit organization, you will play a pivotal role in driving a strategic shift and transformation in our audit approach.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation of data analytics, data mining, and artificial intelligence-based solutions to drive continuous auditing procedures in our future audit plans.
  • Develop predictive models, automated testing, data analytics tools, data mining, and artificial intelligence-based solutions to enhance our audit capabilities.
  • Champion the use of advanced analytics and automation methods across all audit portfolios, influencing operations to adopt such solutions to deploy continuous monitoring activities.
  • Assess business processes to identify key process and risk indicators capable of highlighting process issues or suboptimal control frameworks and provide actionable recommendations based on data insights.
  • Analyze complex data, identify anomalies, and provide usable insights to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Detect patterns for data analysis to identify financial, operational, compliance, or IT issues and address audit team hypothesis and business challenges.
  • Interact proactively with senior leaders across different functions and regions, articulating the audit strategy and providing regular updates on progress milestones.
  • Advocate for the Internal Audit organization's strategy, ensuring alignment across all levels.
  • Foster a positive work environment and serve as an effective role model.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a similar discipline.
  • Minimum of 12-15 years of combined experience in Data Science, Data Analytics, Information Technology, Operational and Risk/Audit roles within global, complex organizations.
  • At least 2-3 years in leadership positions.
  • Deep understanding of business processes, internal control, and corporate governance.
  • Strong background and proven experience in process design and deployment, with focus on strategic processes at global level.
  • Ability to identify patterns, flag incongruencies, and apply critical thinking.
  • Deep experience in IT, Data Analytics, Data Mining, and Artificial Intelligence Solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of SAP systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management.
  • CIA, CISA certifications are beneficial.
  • Fluent in English and Italian.
