We're seeking a seasoned Senior Manager to lead our Account Management Team in Milan for our Advertising business. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for developing strategies to achieve revenue targets and organizational goals.

Your expertise will be crucial in leading a team composed of one manager and 11 Account Managers working to develop Hardlines advertisers. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including Account Executives, Retail, Product, and Creative, to drive execution of team strategy and ensure measurable results in advertiser satisfaction, YoY revenue growth, renewal rates, and operational quality metrics.

The ideal candidate will possess strong business acumen, sales, and people management skills, with the ability to thrive in ambiguous situations and challenge revenue targets. A self-starter with analytical skills, you'll find solutions without guidance and partner closely with clients and agencies to support complex client negotiations.

You'll leverage your experience and judgment to define organizational strategy, processes, tools, and incentives to maximize ROI and accelerate growth. Key job responsibilities include:

  • Leading and working with the team to achieve revenue targets
  • Developing the team's sales skills, business acumen, and ability to generate innovative insights
  • Diving deep into client needs, gathering feedback, identifying solutions, and driving improvements to their advertising experience
  • Engaging with clients during negotiations and representing business results to Amazon Advertising's leadership team and product/platform leadership
  • Hiring and developing a world-class team

This role requires a Bachelor's degree or relevant working experience, with 6+ years of experience in digital advertising or client-facing roles, including 2+ years of people management experience. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, and strong negotiating skills are essential.

A demonstrated ability to deal with ambiguity, deliver results, and drive change in loosely defined situations is critical. Additionally, superior verbal and written communication skills, as well as a proven record of attracting, retaining, and growing talents, are necessary for success in this role.

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
