We are seeking a skilled Technical Sales Engineer to join our team at Cielo Talent. As a market leader in Ductile Iron Pipes, we are expanding our sales team across Europe and require a motivated individual to drive business growth by understanding customer needs, providing innovative solutions, and ensuring high customer satisfaction.

About the Role

As a Technical Sales Engineer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Product Development, and Engineering, to achieve your goals and contribute to the company's success. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring timely resolution of all customer complaints within a seven-day timeframe.
  • Developing and nurturing strong relationships with existing and potential customers, offering expert technical support and solutions.
  • Delivering product demonstrations and training sessions, highlighting the benefits and applications of ductile iron pipes and fittings.
  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities, preparing technical presentations and proposals to potential customers.
  • Collaborating with the sales team to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
  • Participating in industry trade shows, conferences, and events to network and stay updated on market trends.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions, sales activities, and technical issues in the CRM system.
  • Preparing regular sales reports and forecasts for the sales manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or related fields preferred).
  • Proven experience in technical sales, preferably in the ductile iron pipes and fittings industry or a related field.
  • Strong technical knowledge of ductile iron pipes and fittings and their applications is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Ability to travel as required to meet with customers and attend industry events.
