Business Development Manager for Specialized Materials

In this key role, you will drive profitable growth in the region by developing and executing strategies to increase sales of our specialized materials. Your primary focus will be on building relationships with target customers and identifying new business opportunities.

Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute business plans to drive revenue growth and profitability* Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners* Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to pursue them* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage resources and expertise* Monitor market trends and competitor activity to stay ahead of the competition* Negotiate contracts and agreements with customers to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes* Participate in strategy development and help position the business for success
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, Chemistry, or polymer sciences* Experience in sales and/or marketing, technical/R&D experience in a similar industry* Strong negotiation and influencing skills* Strong business acumen and ability to identify opportunities* Proficiency in MS Office and SAP; Salesforce.com experience a plus* Willingness to travel extensively (approximately 50% of working time)
