About DAZN and the Role:

DAZN is the media division of live sports OTT service, dedicated to delivering high-quality entertainment experiences to sports fans worldwide.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Manager to join our team, responsible for driving sales growth and revenue expansion across our various platforms.

About the Job:

The successful candidate will serve as a trusted consultant with our partners, consistently bringing creative and solution-oriented ideas to meet their business challenges and goals.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering Sales and Revenue Targets: Meet and exceed sales targets across all DAZN products (OTT, YouTube, Podcast, etc.)
  • Generating Sales-Related Activity: Develop and execute strategies to drive sales growth, including cold calls, meetings, and requests for proposals
  • Serving as a Trusted Consultant: Provide expert advice and guidance to partners, leveraging your deep understanding of the media industry and DAZN's products and services
  • Developing Business Cases: Create compelling business cases to satisfy client needs and drive revenue growth
  • Market Insights and Competitor Evaluation: Conduct research and analysis to stay ahead of the competition and identify new business opportunities
  • Building Knowledge of DAZN's Advertising Products: Develop and maintain a strong understanding of our advertising products and solutions
  • Collaborating with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with internal teams to achieve revenue goals, expectations, and forecasts

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Long-term Experience in the Media Industry: A strong background in TV/OTT and a real passion for sports
  • High-Level Relationships with Marketing Stakeholders: Existing relationships with marketing stakeholders of top advertisers, preferably in the FMCG and Retail industry
  • Proven Sales Ability: A track record of delivering against performance targets in account management, new business, and concept creation
  • Expertise in Programmatic Advertising and/or TV Advertising: In-depth knowledge of programmatic advertising and/or TV advertising
  • Rich Experience in Working with Media Agencies or Video Broadcasters: Experience working at or with a media agency or (sports-)video broadcaster
  • Effective Communication and Time Management Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both in English and Italian, and work under tight deadlines to develop and execute deal elements
  • Client Service and Professional Follow-Up: A clear understanding of the importance of client service and professional follow-up
