Job Description

Allen Recruitment is seeking an experienced Commercial Contract Manager to join our team in the Renewable Energy sector. As a key member of our European team, you will be responsible for ensuring the portfolio of contracts in the business follows contract and claim management methodologies in accordance with internal standard operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review commercial and technical tender terms and conditions to ensure alignment with internal policies and customer requirements.
  • Develop contract strategy based on risk, pricing, scope, and schedule, taking into account the overall execution strategy.
  • Identify contract baseline and highlight areas of potential risk, ensuring timely and accurate execution of commercial aspects in the portfolio of contracts.
  • Verify that all parties to the contract have fulfilled their contractual obligations and there are no responsibilities outstanding.
  • Assess the success of the contract and document lessons learned for future contracting.
  • Establish and implement standard change methodologies in the portfolio of contracts to identify changes and quantify the additional time and compensation due per the contract.
  • Enforce and defend contractual interests with customers and suppliers during the project life cycle.
  • Partner with Legal to develop the negotiation strategy and support negotiations.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Law.
  • Industry experience in Contract Management and Subcontract Management functions, with emphasis on civil and electrical installations.
  • History of contract drafting and supporting supply chain in the compilation and flow down of terms for Subcontract formation.
  • Solid background in change management, claim management, and contract-related legal issues.
  • Working knowledge of contracts executed under common law jurisdictions.
  • Extensive experience in administering standard form Contracts.
  • Member of Fédération internationale des ingénieurs-conseils (FIDIC) (Ideally).
Language and Travel:

Native Italian and fluent English. Available for client onsite meetings and business trips.
