Job Title: Bid Manager

Alstom is seeking a highly experienced Bid Manager to join our team in a key leadership position. As a Bid Manager, you will play a critical role in the success of our business by developing and delivering high-quality tender submissions that meet customer requirements and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the cost of tenders to budget and ensure Alstom margin commitments are realised.
  • Develop solutions that meet customer requirements at a winning price point and deliver high-quality tender submissions.
  • Ensure implementation of opportunity capture plans and win strategies in tenders and deliver winning proposals with a defined scope, accurate QCD commitment in a timely manner and within the defined tender budget.
Requirements:
  • Significant experience in bid management, with a successful track record of developing and delivering winning tenders.
  • Excellent numerical and oral/written communication skills, with the ability to develop strong relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Proficient user of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM software packages.
  • Working knowledge of commercial contracts used in signalling, systems infrastructure projects.
