About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Development Specialist to join our team in Rome. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and expansion in the Research market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our presence in the Research market
  • Collaborate with colleagues and manager to drive business results and achieve company goals
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitors, and customer needs
  • Utilize CRM software and other IT tools to track sales performance and pipeline management
Requirements
  • A minimum MSc degree in biology or life sciences field
  • Experience in QPCR technology and sales experience in the Research field are preferred
  • Oriented towards developing and implementing strategies that drive growth and expansion
  • Able to travel frequently across the area
  • Good English language skills, both written and spoken
Preferred Qualifications
  • Virtual selling experience is a plus
  • Ability to align across teams and organizations, develop collaboration, and establish stretch goals
  • Organizational skills, ability to set priorities, and manage time effectively
  • Able to take ownership and hold self-accountable for personal delivery
