As a Client Relationship Manager at ING, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the satisfaction of our Payment&Cash Management Wholesale Banking clients. Working closely with Relationship Management and Transaction Services, you will apply the necessary conditions to achieve client satisfaction targets, maintain commercial and operational quality of service, and minimize reputational and operational risks.

Main Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the Client Services Account Management department, providing day-to-day servicing of local-based or subsidiaries of foreign-based Corporate Clients and Financial Institutions with multiple WB daily banking products.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of processes in local and Group tools.
  • Implement the client service strategy per client, ensuring operational excellence and delivering the best service to our customers.
  • Support the Head of Client Services in incident coordination and management.
  • Participate in client services-related product and business process projects, both locally and across the Group.
  • Ensure personal contribution to the CS Network activities and initiatives.
  • Apply all procedures required within ING and the CS Area, complying with all regulations and ING ORM/Compliance/Legal policies, guidelines, and instructions, and personal data protection.
  • Interact internally with Local Client Coverage organization, Corporate Lending, Financial Markets, Finance, and Risks, as well as with Corporate Clients and Financial Institutions.

Requirements

  • University degree or equivalent.
  • 3+ years' experience in a commercial/customer service role within an international banking environment.
  • Experience gained in back-office, preferably within Wholesale Banking.
  • Proven experience in supporting customers, preferably corporate ones.
  • Proven understanding of the banking environment and related products.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken) is a must.
  • Advanced user of MS Office.
