Position Overview

We are in search of an Inventory Specialist who will collaborate closely with the Store Manager as part of our vibrant team at B.V. Italia S.R.L.

Role Purpose

The Inventory Specialist ensures that all merchandise is accurately received and stored in optimal condition, maintaining organization and adherence to merchandise management protocols. This role serves as the primary contact for stock movements and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities

MERCHANDISE RECEIPT & STORAGE

Manages the reception of goods, overseeing the unloading process and bar code scanning Verifies the quantity and quality of received goods, ensuring all transport documentation is accurate Updates the inventory system with the stock of received products and ensures that items are stored according to merchandise management standards, maintaining cleanliness and efficient organization

STOCK MANAGEMENT

Coordinates transfers between locations and manages returns to vendors, preparing goods and verifying their condition and codes prior to dispatch, including necessary documentation Works alongside the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager to ensure compliance with consignment procedures, identifying unavailable goods in the store Facilitates omnichannel services, including in-store pickups, shipping from the store, and remote sales shipments

ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES

Performs administrative functions and maintains accurate records of all CITES items in the store, ensuring proper documentation is attached and organized Conducts daily assessments using dedicated reports to monitor sold materials and stock levels in the warehouse, responsible for restocking sales floor items and submitting replenishment requests to the Merchandising office.

Candidate Profile

Previous experience in a similar position within the fashion or luxury sector Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain an organized workflow Practical problem-solving skills and adaptability Availability, flexibility, and a collaborative spirit Proficient in English is essential Protected Category status in accordance with Italian Law 68/99
