Position Overview

We are looking for an Inventory Specialist to join our vibrant team at B.V. Italia S.R.L. in the luxury retail sector.

Role Objectives

The Inventory Specialist is responsible for ensuring that all merchandise is received, stored, and maintained in optimal condition, adhering to our merchandise management protocols. This role serves as the primary contact for all stock movements and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities

MERCHANDISE HANDLING

  • Receives incoming products, manages the unloading process, and performs barcode scanning.
  • Verifies the quantity and quality of received goods, ensuring alignment with transport documentation.
  • Updates the inventory management system with received stock and ensures that all items are stored according to merchandise management standards, keeping the area organized and efficient.

STOCK MANAGEMENT

  • Coordinates stock transfers between locations and manages returns to vendors, ensuring proper documentation is prepared as necessary.
  • Works closely with the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager to follow consignment procedures and identify unavailable goods in the store.
  • Facilitates omnichannel services, including in-store pickups, shipping from the store, and remote sales shipments.

ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES

  • Performs administrative tasks and maintains accurate records of all CITES items in the store, ensuring proper documentation is attached and organized.
  • Conducts daily inventory checks using dedicated reporting tools, monitors sold items and stock levels, and is responsible for restocking the sales floor while submitting replenishment requests to the Merchandising department.

Candidate Profile

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the fashion or luxury sector.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work methodically.
  • Practical problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
  • Flexibility, availability, and a collaborative spirit.
  • Proficiency in English is essential.
  • Must belong to a Protected Category, in accordance with Italian Law 68/99.
