Operating within a rapidly growing economic sector, our organization is expanding its leadership team in Lainate (Milano), Italy.
As the Sales Director for Baoli EMEA, you will be instrumental in shaping our sales and service strategy to boost order intake, increase market presence, and meet established gross profit objectives within the EMEA region. Your role will involve building and guiding a high-achieving sales team, aligning tactics with sales goals, and reporting directly to the Managing Director of Baoli EMEA. Additionally, you will focus on enhancing service sales and supporting initiatives for both our sales personnel and dealers.
Please note: Proficiency in English is essential, as our network partners are spread across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Baoli brand leader to co-develop the Sales & Service Strategy aimed at achieving timely order intake, market share, and gross profit growth. Lead the sales team by providing a clear Sales & Service strategy and driving execution. Establish a regular cadence of execution processes (meetings, reviews, leading KPIs) with the sales team. Build and nurture a high-performing sales team across the EMEA region, promoting a culture of excellence and accountability. Optimize tools and processes for efficient sales operations. Initiate changes and drive growth initiatives to seize new market opportunities and enhance sales performance. Develop and implement sales enablement and support activities for the salesforce and dealer network. Drive sales campaigns and manage lead initiatives. Implement sales analytics and planning to maximize performance. Set targets and objectives for the sales organization, monitor progress, and adjust strategies as needed. Support the expansion of the Baoli distribution network through collaboration with central dealer development initiatives. Engage with key interfaces: Dealer Development, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Marketing, Service & Business Operations.Desired Qualifications:
Strong experience in the forklift or related industry, showcasing a solid understanding of the market or in the Machinery B2B sector. High proficiency in English (both written and spoken) is required. Willingness to travel within the EMEA region and occasionally internationally. A structured and analytical approach to work, with a proven track record in strategic planning and execution. Exceptional interpersonal skills, including a high level of empathy and the ability to lead and inspire a diverse team. Intercultural competence to effectively collaborate within the diverse EMEA region. Proactive and results-driven mindset to drive sales and achieve objectives.Essential Qualifications:
Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Business or Economics; alternatively, Engineering with Business Management. Experience in leadership roles within sales and marketing, with a proven history of meeting and exceeding sales targets. Strong negotiation and communication skills, capable of engaging at all organizational levels.
