Product Manager Commercial UPS

The Product Manager Commercial UPS is responsible for implementing an optimal portfolio for Commercial UPS and Light Industrial UPS products. This involves ensuring the right product positioning in line with customer and market requirements, as well as managing the product life cycle.
Main Responsibilities- Report on revenue, VM, price, and cost reduction targets, and highlight product or market issues to the business.
- Lead internal processes to define and implement the AEG portfolio roadmap in collaboration with business development, marketing, and sales.
- Manage product life cycle and develop marketing strategies.
- Analyze feedback from sales, marketing, business development, and market (competition analysis).
- Develop and implement successful current and future portfolio roadmaps, as well as pricing strategies.
- Propose the optimal supply chain for OEM or ODM products and assist Operations with implementation.
- Collaborate with Purchasing in negotiating contracts with new and existing OEM or ODM suppliers.
- Prepare and maintain portfolio specifications and requirements for existing and new products.
- Ensure all necessary information is available for product launches.
- Create and maintain a portfolio roadmap.
- Develop business cases for new product features or development.
- Ensure cost effectiveness in new product development and/or improve existing products in collaboration with R&D and procurement.
- Provide training and technical information to Sales, Field Application Engineering, Application Engineering, and Service teams.
- Prepare and lead product presentations and publications.
- Define AEG PS global portfolio strategy in line with managing board and business strategies.
- Support Legal Entities with product information and planned technical trainings.
- Interact with suppliers for product development of AEG PS Commercial UPS OEM & ODM products.
- Prepare price lists for commercial UPS products and approve price requests outside of the standard product range or pricing strategy.
- Approve bid requests requiring Engineering, R&D, or supplier resources/changes.
- Electrical Engineer or similar degree.
- Good knowledge of electrical systems and power electronic products.
- Ideal knowledge of competitors' products and service strategies within the UPS sectors.
- 3-5 years of experience in technical & commercial roles in power electronics industries.
- Computer Literacy.
- Fluent in English at least B2.
