About the Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Sales Development Manager to join our W. L. Gore & Associates team in EMEA. This role will be responsible for delivering near-term revenue and developing a substantial funnel for long-term, sustained growth at or above our segment market growth rates.

This is a remote position, allowing you to work from your home office in most locations within EMEA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies and tactical plans to deliver year-over-year sustainable and profitable revenue growth.
  • Develop a pipeline of opportunities through prospecting and lead qualification at existing and new accounts, to grow revenue and increase market share; achieve quarterly and annual revenue goals.
  • Identify, engage, and develop relationships with key buying influences, including C-level executives, to influence customer decisions; develop and maintain a network of relationships with key customers and market leaders to provide opportunities for new business.
  • Effectively communicate and influence how Gore resources can best support the customer buying process, including mobilizing Product Specialist and Business support.
  • Analyze market competition, trends, and maintain a strong understanding of industry dynamics to identify new opportunities and build our customer pipeline.
  • Collaborate with internal and external team members to develop account-specific strategies and ensure alignment with our business strategy.
  • Provide broad insights to customer needs, buying patterns, and requirements, and translate this insight into a unique winning solution.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on how Gore's unique PharmBIO products solve a clear and compelling problem for our customer, leveraging knowledge to help Gore win opportunities in the biopharmaceutical and medical device markets.
  • Effectively utilize Gore's sales tools to build your sales funnel, advance opportunities, manage accounts, accurately forecast, and capture business-critical information.
  • Participate in industry networking and conferencing events to learn the market and further enhance Gore's credibility and recognition in the industry.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree and five years of market-facing/commercial experience, with experience in regulated markets. A background in Pharma bio-processing markets is strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated prospecting, qualification, and closing skills.
  • Proven track record in achieving high-level sales results, including finding new opportunities and converting pipeline to new revenue.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand, navigate, and sell into highly technical markets, with a technical degree preferred.
  • Self-starter, ability to work independently and collaboratively across different functions.
  • Resourceful and creative in developing contacts, advancing in the customer buying process, and generating early sales of new products.
  • Thrive in a new business environment with selling experience and a successful track record in converting leads with a high win rate.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, team building, prioritization, multi-tasking, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
