At Adyen, we're on a mission to empower businesses to achieve their ambitions faster. As a key member of our EMEA Sales leadership team, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the commercial strategy for Italy and driving growth through our Sales organization.

What You'll Do:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for Italy, driving end-to-end commercial success and scaling the Sales organization;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and drive the vision for growing the Italian sales team, and scale day-to-day operations;
  • Engage with strategic opportunities, leading executive relationships and navigating complex sales cycles to win new customers;
  • Adopt and influence the company's sales methodology/process, driving best practices on selling and forecasting;
  • Develop and implement strategies to enable the organization to rapidly scale and deliver on revenue targets and support KPIs for growth;
  • Partner with Marketing, Product, Partnerships, Account Management, SDR, and regionally and globally to drive sales performance.
Who We're Looking For:
  • 10+ years of extensive sales experience, specializing in serving multinational enterprise customers;
  • 5+ years of experience in Italy, with demonstrated leadership experience in both leaders and individual contributors;
  • Extensive knowledge of the Payments, FinTech, and/or enterprise SAAS industries in Italy;
  • Strong experience with sales forecasting and metrics;
  • Resilience and ability to challenge and influence while remaining focused on growing a sustainable business;
  • Ability to structure and prioritize in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and drive a process to completion;
  • Team player with a strong ownership mindset.
