Job Title: Commis de Rang Wine Service Professional

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commis de Rang Wine Service Professional to join our team at Splendido Mare, A Belmond Hotel. As a key member of our restaurant team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional wine service to our guests, ensuring a seamless and memorable dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Wine Service: Provide expert wine service to guests, including wine pairing recommendations and wine list management.
  • Restaurant Operations: Assist with restaurant operations, including setting up and maintaining the dining area, managing inventory, and ensuring a clean and safe environment for guests.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Chef de Rang, Sommelier, and other team members to ensure seamless service and a high level of guest satisfaction.
  • Guest Experience: Monitor guest experiences and provide exceptional service to ensure a memorable and enjoyable dining experience.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with guests, team members, and management to ensure a smooth and efficient service.

Requirements:

  • Wine Knowledge: Possess a deep understanding of wine, including wine regions, grape varieties, and wine pairing principles.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, team members, and management.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a focus on providing exceptional service and ensuring a seamless dining experience.
