About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Demi Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team at Splendido Mare, a luxurious hotel part of the LVMH Group. As a Demi Chef de Partie, you will play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of culinary excellence and providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meal Preparation: Cook and prepare food for each service, maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Safety and Hygiene: Ensure that all kitchen areas are maintained in a clean and safe environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Inventory Management: Control and store incoming goods, monitoring portion and waste control to minimize waste and optimize resources.
  • Team Leadership: Coordinate and supervise Demi and Commis de Partie, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Adaptability and Flexibility: Demonstrate a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances, prioritizing tasks and adjusting to meet the needs of the kitchen team.

Requirements:

  • Culinary Expertise: Possess thorough knowledge of cooking styles, equipment, and raw materials processing techniques.
  • Experience: At least 3 years of previous professional experience in a similar role within a luxury environment.
  • Education: Tourism or Hospitality degree preferred.
  • Soft Skills: Effective communication, emotional intelligence, adaptability, collaboration, and a drive to provide exceptional service.
