Regional Sales Excellence Lead

As a key member of the European Sales Training Department, the Regional Sales Excellence Lead will play a critical role in driving sales excellence and customer satisfaction in Italy. This position requires a strong understanding of the European automotive market and a proven track record of delivering high-quality sales training and coaching.
Key Responsibilities:- Adapt the EU Sales Excellence Master Plan (SEMP) to meet the specific needs of the Italy market.
- Develop and deliver impactful sales and product training sessions and content, balancing digital, virtual, and physical learning methods.
- Manage the database of market dealer staff in Learning Platforms and Tools in close collaboration with the Training Coordination Team.
- Contribute to the development of the SEMP, including BYD Group introduction, brand insights, product knowledge, onboarding, sales and delivery skills, customer experience, and training validation/certification.
- Work with internal and external stakeholders and subject matter experts to determine training needs and quickly identify, build, and implement training solutions based on SEMP.
- Track and record all training interventions conducted in the market and provide monthly training reports in time as required for centralized Europe-wide reporting.
- Search for, control, and advise on possible external agencies for collaboration in development, execution, or consultancy.
- Provide ad-hoc performance coaching for teams and individual team members as necessary.
- Bachelor's degree in automotive, marketing, or equivalent experience.
- 3 years' experience in a customer-focused training/coaching team or organization.
- Customer-centric mindset connected with our mission and a more sustainable future.
- Excellent Italian and English language skills (knowledge of other European languages and/or Chinese would be a plus).
- Excellent coaching, training, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of positive influence in teams.
- In-depth knowledge and passion about the history, brands, products, and technologies of the European automotive industry.
- Familiarity with digital tools such as the Microsoft Office suite, Adobe creative tools, and the ability to create/optimize digital/F2F content to support SEMP.
- Ability to work in a rapidly developing, dynamic environment and partner effectively with cross-border/cultural teams.
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, mainly in the retail network of Italy and with regular visits to BYD European HQ.
