We are seeking a skilled Outside Sales Engineer to drive sales activities for designated customers in the Gas Distribution and Transmission industries. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying market requirements, developing growth strategies, and negotiating business contracts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify market requirements and develop strategies for growth of orders and profitability in designated accounts.
  • Negotiate business contracts with customers, including discount, price, and volume structures.
  • Maintain a project opportunity list for assigned sales area in CRM tools.
  • Coordinate and ensure execution of committed contractual terms to customers in all business transactions.
  • Report regularly to direct supervisor on market trends, competition strategies, and customer behaviors affecting Emerson business strategies.

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree or comparable technical background.
  • Relevant experience in Oil & Gas industry.
  • Proficient in Italian and English languages (verbal, reading, and writing).
  • Willing to travel in the region up to 60% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong technical background in Gas Industry or similar.
  • Ability to work within a sophisticated matrix organization and collaborate across business units.
  • Strong personality with ability to communicate with all levels within and outside of the organization.
