Job Description

Itt Inc. is seeking a highly skilled individual to join our team as a Valve Sales Professional in the area of engineered valves.



Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell engineered valves to end-users, engineering companies, OEMs, and distributors.
  • Develop and expand the distribution network in the territory.
  • Discover and work on new CAPEX projects to get PF valves specified and installed.
  • Responsible for the entire sales process, from lead generation until aftermarket support in the region.
  • Maintain an up-to-date territory plan and work accordingly.
  • Travels nationally and internationally to visit key accounts and distributors.
  • Performs specification work for day-to-day business and on projects with A&E's, OEM's and End-Users.
  • Conducts product information seminars and training for end-users, A&E accounts, distributors, and representatives.
  • Assists distributors and representatives' sales personnel in making sales calls and securing orders for PF products.
  • Provide ITT with detailed information on the competitive landscape in the territory.
  • Maintain reports for active projects and opportunities and support monthly reporting and forecasting process.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a technical field is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of outside technical valve sales experience is preferred.
  • Channel management experience, sale of valves or related products, or other capital equipment is preferred.
  • Fluency in German and English (verbally and in writing) is required.
