Key Responsibilities

I- Program Coordination within the Team

• Facilitate the overall process of collaboration, standardization, and sharing of best practices among team members and project partners.

• Ensure that the educational program is executed in accordance with the established operational procedures for early childhood education and retention in educational settings.

• Oversee the execution and coordination of educational initiatives within the project framework, adhering to the project work plan, internal regulations, and organizational values.

• Collaborate closely with the Project Manager to develop a comprehensive work plan and anticipate necessary resources.

• Lead the coordination of the field team, including educators and assistants, in partnership with the Project Manager (work planning, information dissemination, weekly scheduling, and technical requirements).

• Work in conjunction with educational specialists and technical officers to ensure consistent technical practices across all project locations.

• Monitor the quality of educational and child protection activities in the field.

• Participate in regular meetings with educators to assess and support the technical work delivered.

• Review weekly technical reports from education assistants and community-based organization staff, providing constructive feedback and taking necessary actions as required.

• Evaluate activity plans and reports from animators and community-based organization staff, offering feedback and implementing necessary actions as needed.

• Organize and lead regular project meetings with the team and relevant departments, documenting and sharing meeting minutes.
II- Collaboration with Monitoring and Evaluation Department

• Review the list of children for referral to formal education, ensuring regular follow-up to enhance access to educational opportunities.

• Coordinate registration events in partnership with outreach teams, community volunteers, and center staff.

• Facilitate collaboration between the monitoring and evaluation department and field staff to ensure effective data collection, reporting, and adherence to deadlines, ensuring accurate reflection in the project’s log frame.

• Work with the Accountability Officer to implement recommendations and best practices identified during evaluations.
III- Stakeholder Engagement

• Foster positive relationships with school administrators, partners, and stakeholders in the intervention area, in collaboration with the Project Manager and field office coordinator.

• Coordinate with outreach teams and community-based organizations to plan necessary outreach activities and target cycles.

• Develop a comprehensive mapping of stakeholders in the intervention area.

• Collaborate with the Project Manager to conduct assessments and surveys in the intervention area.
IV- Reporting Responsibilities

• Provide regular reports to monitor project activities (monthly narrative reports).

• Adhere to deadlines and prioritize reporting, activity schedules, targets, and timelines.

• Maintain an updated database of project personnel.
V- Resource Management

• Ensure project execution aligns with administrative procedures and organizational policies.

• Identify and communicate administrative and logistical needs of educational centers to the appropriate departments.

• Compile and submit necessary documentation for payments, purchases, and recruitment based on anticipated logistical and human resource needs.

Essential Qualifications

Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Social Sciences, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience of at least 5 years.

Work Experience:
- Minimum of three years of experience, preferably within non-governmental organizations.

Language Proficiency:
- Native Arabic speaker, with excellent proficiency in English and working knowledge of French.
