About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales and Marketing Account Manager to join our team at Generator Supercenter of Austin. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for expanding and growing our customer base through strategic business development and marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our customer base, including recruiting new referral sources and trade partners.
  2. Relationship Management: Maintain and grow existing referral relationships with insurance agents, property managers, plumbers, and other key stakeholders through regular office visits and targeted marketing promotions.
  3. Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement marketing strategies that support and grow the company's sales objectives, including planning and executing multiple marketing promotions and contests throughout the year.
  4. Customer Management: Develop and maintain accurate and complete customer files, notes, and track marketing activities for each customer.
  5. Event Planning: Coordinate, promote, plan, and prepare for CE classes and other events for insurance agents.
  6. Referral Management: Track and reward existing referral sources with incentives and recognition.
  7. Brand Management: Maintain and promote company social media accounts and online presence.
  8. Inventory Management: Order and maintain inventory of promotional products and materials.
  9. Community Engagement: Plan and execute community-based marketing events throughout the year, including golf tournaments, chamber events, and charitable events.
  10. Networking: Join and participate in referral networking through service organizations and referral network groups.
  11. Digital Marketing: Work with vendors to stay top of mind in our digital marketing efforts, including website, social media, and other digital opportunities.
Requirements
  1. Experience: Prior experience in face-to-face sales and marketing, with a proven track record of success.
  2. Skills: Proficient with computer software programs, including MS Office suite, Xactimate, and Dash.
  3. Industry Knowledge: Prior experience or knowledge in disaster restoration.
  4. Personal Qualities: Highly competitive, positive, and results-driven, with excellent presentation and communication skills.
  5. Education: College education preferred but not required.
